Sometimes the wrong person ends up in the right place at the wrong times. A suburban town is reeling after news of two murders hits the streets. Police can connect the crimes, but they have trouble finding witnesses, or anyone to talk to, as the entire community seems to be silenced by fear and a distrust of police authority. A young constable, Graham McGahan (Brendan Cowell), suffers from tinnitus and applies for worker’s compensation. He lives right near the crime scene, and begins to cross paths with people who have been affected by the murders. He learns how the real-life ramifications of a crime on everyday people differ greatly from his experience as a policeman.
